The Constellation series of glazes are
designed to shine in all kinds of firings. These glazes are unmatched
for versatility, changing dramatically depending on how they are used.
Thickness, firing temperature, and especially cooling speed can affect
these glazes in marvellous ways.
Below are comparisons between
slow and regular firings, showing just a portion of the range. Try using the Constellations at
different thicknesses to see the many different colors they can produce,
and fire them in a slow cool to see the difference all over again.

Our Slow-Cool Crystal series is a more
specialized way to take advantage of a slow cool firing. Less
runny than traditional crystalline glazes, these beautiful colors aren't
like anything else available.
These glazes can be runny when thick, and
should be slow-cooled to acheive their best. When applied and
fired just right, they take on amazing multicolored hues and beautiful
zinc crystals bloom across the surface. Although they take some skill to master, the
Slow-Cool Crystals are among the most exciting glazes you will ever
use.
