ALL CLASSES AND WAIT LISTS ARE
CURRENTLY FULL! WE ARE HAPPY TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS
ABOUT CLASSES BUT WE CAN NOT SIGN UP NEW STUDENTS
CURRENTLY
Please observe the following
guidelines for COVID safety:
We will be posting a COVID
self-assessment checklist for each student and studio
member to consult before entering. We ask that you
self-screen. If you are experiencing a fever, cough,
shortness of breath, sore throat, headache, muscle pain,
chills, or loss of taste and smell, please stay home.
You will be asked to leave if you display any of these
symptoms.
We will also ask each student and
studio member to sign in and provide contact information
on arrival to help with contact tracing. By signing the
sheet you will be acknowledging that you have completed
the self-screening and are not showing any symptoms. We
will not be requiring temperature measurements, but we
do have contactless thermometers available if you would
be more comfortable being checked.
To reduce the chances of COVID
exposure, we are adopting the following changes:
- There is now a keypad for entry. Entry codes will
be provided on the first of the month when fees are paid
and will
allow access to the studio during business hours until
the end of the month.
- All Clay and Tool purchases will now be self-service
and subtracted from your deposit, as well as firing.
Maintaining a deposit will no longer be optional.
- Only 14 students and/or studio
members will be permitted at once. During class hours
(Monday-Thursday 6-9 and Saturday 1-4,) students will be
given preference.
- A mask is required while you
are inside the building, and social distancing practices
will be enforced, including every other wheel being
taped off to maintain appropriate distance.
- There will no longer be
communal slop buckets. Clay scraps should still be
thrown into the buckets under the tables to be thrown
away, but cleanup should now be done at the sink.
Throwing water should also come from the sink.
- Please bring your own bucket, as communal studio
buckets will no longer be provided.
- We encourage you to use
contactless forms of payment when possible. We are able
to take payments over the phone or send PayPal invoices
on request, and we can put money on deposit for most of
your expenses including class fees, supplies, tools, and
firing.
Please stay safe!
