Coyote glaze contest, call for entries and contest rules.

 You are invited to enter our Coyote Glaze competition. We are looking for work to feature in our upcoming Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated ads. We are also looking for new work to display on our web site and in our flyers. All work must be glazed only with Coyote Glazes or Coyote Underglazes to be considered. 

First Prize: $150

Second Prize: $100

Third through fifth prizes: $50 each in Coyote Glazes

Rules:

Deadline for entries is September 1st, 2008. Winners will be announced by September 15th, 2008.

We will accept up to 5 entries per person.

Preferred format is digital photos (tiff or jpeg files), either email them to clayncolor@aol.com or mail us a disc. We can also accept prints, but please no slides. Prints or discs will not be returned.

You must keep the exact piece entered available for our photographer to shoot if you win. If you can't do this, we can have your entry photographed instead, for a fee of $35 per piece, plus shipping costs. If you choose to do this, pack your work extremely well, we will not be responsible for any damage. We will repack your work in the box and packing you sent it in and bill you for the return UPS charge. You will receive a digital copy of the professional photograph whether you are a winner or not.

All work must be glazed using only Coyote Glazes or Underglazes. Please list which glazes were used with your entries.

By entering this contest you agree to grant publication rights to Coyote Clay & Color. We will be using these images for our magazine ads, web pages and flyers.
